Here are a few "pointers" to bare in mind when booking The Alabama Brothers:DISCLAIMER (read carefully):The Alabama Brothers are two actual, blood, same mother and father, been together 26 years, court binding, real BROTHERS. They sing Blues music and choose of their own free will in this great nation to dress in beatnik, 50's style black suits and black hats to disguise themselves as business men from the rest of the world seeking to "harrass" musicians. ANY similarity to the below referenced "Blues Brothers" are strictly and purely coincidental.
1. ADVERTISING:
Unless otherwise agreed differently, the name of the band must appear on posters, ads, etc. without any changes! Appearances might be billed as:
THE ALABAMA BROTHERS
LIVE IN CONCERTOther subtitles might be appropriate but must be cleared in advance with the representatives of the band. Anything, that might lead to a confusion with the "Blues Brothers" or "The Blues Brothers Band" is strictly forbidden!
("Blues Brothers" is a registered trademark of Daniel E. Aykroyd and Judith Jacklyn Pisano.) The band and their representatives will not be held responsible if the local promoter ignores this advice!
For concerts, where the stage-size might be prohibitive, it is possible to perform without the backup-singers. But if possible, the band will prefer to appear with the complete line-up.
During the show, synchronized dancing, gags and a whole lot of action will occur, the show is designed to appeal to all senses and ages of the audience.
