A Big Ole Spring Hello to all our friends from HuntsVegas to the far North and Far East and all over the world. We are in the middle of our biggest year in our 10 year history. Not only are we celebrating our ten year annniversary as The Alabama Blues Brothers, but we are pushing toward our most productive year ever.
As of March, we have 10 states confirmed with the show band and a few really exciting events for everyone. Highlights of the year to come include an October 11 day tour to the Georgia National Fair where we will perform 3 times nightly. The BIG NEWS OF THE YEAR is our 10th year anniversary concert at the Princess Theatre JULY 5th, 2008 in Decatur Alabama. This is a night we pay tribute to everyone who has helped make our act one of the most successful Blues Brothers acts on the East Coast if not the Nation and World. The concert will feature two of our favorite acts we have ever worked with and you will want to see over and over again. BACK IN TIME is an Accapella Oldies group out of Birmingham that has opened for us numerous times and always draws rave reviews. Our other favorite is the unbelievable KEVIN ADAMS Review of the Stars. Kevin takes you through every genre of music in about 30 minutes from uncanny impersonations not only visually, but most of all vocally! Kevin will open a show at Perdido Beach Resort in June and join us again in decatur at the Princess for our celebration.
We are accepting program spots for the low cost of $200 for a half page adds for the evening. Some proceeds will go to the ARC of Morgan County, our official charity for the past 6 years. We still have a title sponsorship available. This will be the primary sponsor to be broadcast on WDRM and 100.3 the River one month from the event. We will be in Florida, Missouri, The Carolinas, and all over Alabama in the coming months, so keep a watch on the Tour Dates page for updates daily. We owe many of you out there an unrepayable debt for your help and support over the past 10 years and hope you can come out and celebrate with us in July at the Princess. We would like to sell the venue out very early to secure everyone of you a seat as 4 years ago the event at the Princess sold out and people were turned away.
