Well, here it is mid Summer and it has been about as hot as we can remember in the deep south. This year has had it's ups and downs with the economy tanking in the first quarter and then people starting to revive a little.
What better way to pay tribute to the 30th anniversary of the movie that taught people what BLUES was all about than to fight through tough times.
That's what this is all about, just keeping your head up and keep on truckin. We have some exciting stuff coming up with our biggest month of the year approaching in September. It will carry us across the south from Kentucky, to Mississippi
to Georgia, to Arkansas, and many other venues.
On a personal note, talks are underway for how will we end all this. Being Brothers it will be a mutual decision and not one that will be made in haste. We are talking about our future and both agree that there will be life after the suits come off.
With Kids growing up fast and careers turning in different directions, we both look back and just like Ray Charles, James Brown and others, we owe a lot of where we are to The Blues Brothers.
Justin met Dan Aykroyd again in Huntsville and had a nice discussion with him. Very nice guy that believes all good things will continue in some form! That has been our goal, to continue...and with that said...to be continued...
